Welcome Back!!! I last left off before a much-needed break with a cliffhanger. I announced with a heavy heart that I was leaving LuLaRoe and ending that chapter of my life to pursue a new endeavor. Well, friends, the time has come to pull back the curtains and reveal that I have made the leap to a new clothing company called Paisley Raye!!!
Many of you may be scratching your heads wondering, what in the hell is Paisley Raye. Some may be wondering why I am so excited to jump from one clothing direct sales company to another and I hope this will answer some questions for you.
What is Paisley Raye?
Paisley Raye is a direct sales women’s clothing company sold through independent stylists. The clothing is sized from XS – 3XL or 0 – 26. Currently, the clothing is made in the USA come in seasonally appropriate styles and favorites called Hall of Fame styles.
Why I chose Paisley Raye
When it came time to switch companies I knew I needed a few things. I needed the freedom to run my business in a way that worked for me and my changing life. I needed diversity in clothing styles. I needed the option to not have to carry hundreds of pieces.
Lately, I travel a lot. I wanted to be able to work my business from a few angles that suited mine and my families needs. Enter Paisley Raye. I’m given the freedom to add to my website (this website) and make this a one-stop shop without having to worry about the ever-changing dynamics and algorithms of Facebook. I absolutely love my Facebook group but I am so excited to be able to bring this to my table. Not only that but I am able to add nonclothing items to my shop inventory that will pair amazingly. That’s right, keep an eye out for accessories and other fun things coming very soon to The Teal Bandit.
The clothes themselves also drew me in. I mean what good is it being excited about running a business if I don’t love the product. As mentioned before the clothing is currently made in the USA. That to me is HUUUGE since it is so hard to find “Made in the USA” on a clothing tag any more. The sizing was another factor for me. What’s most exciting about the sizing is it is essentially broken up into two models: XS-XL and 0XL – 3XL. As a woman who is a size 16 – 18, this made my head spin. A clothing company that took into account that the plus size body requires more than just the clothing to be longer and wider. Sign me the hell up now! Trying on a few of the styles you could just see the careful thought and consideration that was put into the plus size line. Everything from the way the fabric laid to where the seams hit was just a dream.
Another plus for me was the seasonally appropriate styles. You guys, I live in New Hampshire. It gets a tidbit nipply around here in the winter and sweaters are a welcomed gift to my body and closet. Long sleeves are a must-have. Pants are the in thing if you don’t want to freeze your hiney off. I also loved how they offer their most popular styles year round though because you still needed dresses and skirts for fun things like date night, bridal showers, and work (that might not be a fun thing depending on where you work so…sorry).
Ready, Set, GO!
