Plan to Eat: The #1 New and Easy Way to Meal Plan.

by Sam

We may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post.

If your house is anything like mine, dinner time is a nightmare. It’s not so much the actual cooking of the dinner, but it’s picking what to make that can be exhausting. About two years ago, we started using the plan to eat website for meal planning. Every Sunday or Monday, I pull up my plan to eat account and we scroll through Pinterest, Google, and cookbooks (like the real ones) deciding what to make for the upcoming week.

One of the things that always drove me crazy was then making the shopping list (spoiler alert, I don’t have to do that anymore). Going through recipe by recipe to write down everything I needed to pick up was the last thing I wanted to do. If this sounds like you, you are going to love the website plantoeat.com!

What is Plan to Eat?

Plantoeat.com is a website that makes the worst parts of meal planning a breeze. To break it down simply, you sign up for an account (this is a paid program but worth it). With your account, you get a calendar, virtual recipe box, and a virtual shopping list. You can snag recipes from most websites and import them into your account. From there, it’s simple to drag and drop these recipes onto your calendar for meal planning. On your calendar, you’ll find categories for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, and notes. This means you can meet your plan as detailed or as broad as possible.

How much does Plan to Eat cost?

There are two billing options for this meal planning program. You can pay yearly, which is what we do, for about $39. If you are not sure that you want to dive right into the yearly, there is also a monthly option that comes to about $4.95 a month. Depending on when you are reading this, though, they will have a pretty sweet Black Friday deal that will take place from November 29 – December 2, 2019. This sale will be 50% off their yearly plan making it $19.50.

I wanted to make sure to share this opportunity with everyone because I have really found this tool to be essential to our weekly shopping trips. I’ve found that since starting meal planning and sticking to my plan to eat account I have cut my needless spending at the store. Think about it. How often have you gone to the store blind without a list and just wondered the isles as your cart gets heavier and heavier? You get to the checkout and bam you’ve grabbed way more than you needed because you didn’t have a plan.

Plantoeat.com is the website you will love for meal planning. Plan to Eat is having a black friday sale for 50% off subscriptions!

How Do I Use Plan to Eat?

It is so easy. You can use this site on both the computer or the phone app. I usually do my initial planning on the computer then finish up on my phone. I made this video right here to give you a brief overview of how to navigate the site. I went and added a recipe and made a quick menu for you to get the idea of how it functions on a desktop.
